the object of the game is fairly simple, but it is extremely challenging. I have yet to solve a full nine square one.
Anyways the object of the game is to fill up all the empty squares with numbers from 1-9. the catch is that the number cant repeat in any of the horizontal or vertical lines. And it can also not repeat in each one of the 9 square sections.
very challenging, and takes a lot of time.
Each row should contain the numbers 1 - 9
Each column should contain the numbers 1 - 9
Each mini box of 9 squares should contain the numbers 1 - 9
numbers can not repeat in the same row, column or mini square.
It helps to imagine an imaginary cross that intersects on the square you are trying to identify, therefore the same number can not appear anywhere in that cross.
Starting with “1″ work you’r way through the grid, repeat with “2″, etc.
The aim of the puzzle is to enter a numerical digit from 1 through 9 in each cell of a 9×9 grid made up of 3×3 subgrids called “regions”, starting with various digits given in some cells the “givens”. Each row, column, and region must contain only one instance of each numeral. Completing the puzzle requires patience and logical ability.
I think You should check this web 1st !!!
I love this game. Now, let’s see if I can explain it.
Each board has nine blocks. Each block has 9 little squares. Each of those squares must contain a number from 1 to 9 with each number appearing only once.
Now, you have three of these blocks in each row for three rows (a total of 9 blocks). That also makes a total of 9 tiny squares in each row.
You need to place a number in each each little square from i to 9. Those numbers placed in the tiny squares across and up and down the entire board, must not appear more than once in the same row or same block.
Hope that made sense. If you could see a completed puzzle, you would probably understand much better. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find one to link here for you.
This might help you:
1-9 in each column, row and every 3 by3 box
